ABOUT THE EJN TEAM
Canadian Record rep for US label Rochshire Records 1982-84. Free-lanced at recording studios & radio stations 85-89 before founding Artists Radio Promotion in 1989. Director of Promotion & Publicity for Warner Chappell Music Canada 1989-91. Re-branded to: Music Media Network in 1995 – retired in 2001. Launched EJN Weekly Music Sampler in 2009.
Between 1998-2006 we operated Jazzpromo.com – which became one of the internet”s leading content distributors and providers of independent jazz. This included pre-loaded jazz music on the Diamond Rio – the first generation portable MP3 player, music content delivery to hundreds of major online retailers such as Best Buy, Sam Goody”s, MP3.com (Show case), Sympatico Main Site and hundreds more. One of the main benefits for our artists was that by providing a single song, free, for people to download, they were able to reach thousands of potential new listeners – and fans – worldwide.
